Facebook’s KINGMAN RC visits our field!

As the president of the Kingman Golden Eagles RC Club, Inc. it was a pleasure to meet the guys from KINGMAN RCKen Riedl and his son Deaglan… at our flying field this morning, July 27, 2025.
I got to be their instructor as each took his FIRST-EVER RC model airplane flight!

Ken Riedl of KINGMAN RC got to fly the club's Apprentice as he made his first-ever RC flight!

Ken took to it right away and he will soon be able to fly on his own.

Our Vice-Prez David Duke offered Deaglan the chance to fly his Vista Grande electric sailplane... and... the young man proved he's "a natural"!
Our Vice-Prez David Duke offered Deaglan the chance to fly his Vista Grande electric sailplane… and… the young man proved he’s “a natural”!

Deaglan was a NATURAL and surprised me with his flying ability! He had been practicing with an RC flight simulator on his computer and, Wow!… that simulator experience translated into “real-world” know-how!

His confidence with the sticks was certain and so other Golden Eagles members let him fly THEIR models and Deaglan did so to the crowds amazement.

Our Luke Brazdys let Deaglan fly his electric competition pattern ship and, again... "no problema!"

Once we get him trained with making landings on “actual” (rather than “digital”) terra-firma, he will be outshining us ALL out there!

Thanks, guys, for coming out to the field! I hope you’ve been “bit by the RC Flying bug” and that we will see you out there often!
